Pearl Farm, Davao City

On second day of our Davao tour, we decided to go to Pearl Farm. Since overnight stay is way expensive, we chose to do a day tour instead. For Php1500/pax, everything is worthy.

We left our hotel and hailed a taxi towards Marina Bay at 6am. We were quite excited despite we knew that the boat will leave at 8am. Though we waited for hours, we walked and photographed what ever we see.

At 8am, when all other guests were there and ready, we boarded boat. It took us 45min to get to Samal Island. The place is really nice and beautiful. It will make you realize how lovely it is to live, hahaha. As soon as our feet landed the port, we were given pineapple juice and briefed us about the Island.

After then, we looked for our spot and started roaming around. We decided not to dive into the water yet, it will be hassle whenever we wanted to have our lunch. Wet clothes are not allowed in Mandaya Restaurant, that's why. The foods were sumptuous; as in both of us ate like we never eaten before, kidding.

Then, we took speedboat ride to Malipano Island. And as usual, looked for spots to take photos.

Then, after our Malipano tour, we went back to main island and enjoyed the water.

Dried our selves and boarded last trip back to Marina at 4pm. Sad to say our tour ended. Next time, we will make sure that we are going to stay atleast for a night.

Our Wedding at Los Balcones, Tali Beach

Since young, Tracy had been dreaming of a beach wedding. We exerted too much effort in finding perfect place where we are going to hold it. Inquiry here, ocular there; until, at last we found this place on line. We visited the place twice prior to our wedding, just to make sure if that's where we really wanted.

Los Balcones, a private resort in Tali Beach, Nasugbu, Batangas. A lovely and relaxing place, overlooking South China sea.

August 9, 2010, the day both of us been waiting for. We left home at 5am together with our families and friends. We arrived Los Balcones at around 9am. It's quite far from home but extremely worth waiting.

Catering service was already there and started setting up. Mr. Ike Gangoso, our contact person was even there to support us and made sure everything is in place. Everyone was busy preparing and we don't what's happening, up until 4pm. We stated the ceremony at the second floor and 6pm dinner/reception at the garden area.

We, together with our immediate family stayed for over night. Rooms are very comfortable and large enough to accommodate us all.

The morning after, unexpectedly, resort staffs prepared breakfast for us (longanisa, egg and rice). Right after eating, we jumped over the pool and enjoyed. We left the place before lunch. Surely we are going to miss this place.

VALENTINO RESORT AND SPA

We looked for a place where we should do our pre-nup photo shoot. Since, our photographer will be coming from Batangas, we decided to do it there. He gave us options and one of it was VALETINO RESORT AND SPA. After checking several websites and blogs, we finally made a choice. We immediately called them and booked for a standard room for Php 1750.00.

6am of July 13, 2010, we headed straight to Batangas. It was still 8:30 am when we arrived, hoping them they will accommodate us regardless of 12:30 check in time. Unfortunately, NO.

Good thing, they let us stay at the any cabanas. From that time we slept and roamed around. The place is beautiful,  relaxing and perfect place for our pre-nup shoot. It made us more excited for tomorrow's event.

The Pavilion

At 10am, we already got bored and started thinking where to have lunch. We got into the car and drove around the vicinity. We ended up eating at Reyes Barbeque in Robinsons Lipa, hahaha..

Finally, they already allowed to get into our room when we went back. Though the room was far from the poolside and it is located lower ground of spa and gym, but interior is virtuous. It rained all afternoon, so we stayed inside and slept till dawn.

While as sleep, our phone rang; it was the receptionist asking what do we want for dinner. It's nice for them to remember us, we could have been sleeping in hunger during that time. We had a nice dinner served in our room, since I was still raining.

After dining, back to sleep. haha.

We woke up early and had a walk. It was beautiful sunny day. Thank God, the photographers will arrive in few hours.

It was already 10:30am when the they came. We did few shots and had lunch after. The restaurant is open, so there are flies and insects, I hope they can make some improvements on it.

After lunch, we continued posing. Since it was a weekday, we were the only people inside the resort. Both of us were comfortable in posing. We even felt we were models, as we wish. haha.

We took a deep to the pool on our last shot.

Here's a link to the photographer's site..

We will always consider Valentino Resort and Spa, whenever we wanted to escape the city.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Take SLEX and way out through Batangas Exit.
Drive straight along until you see the sign for STAR Expressway. Turn right to STAR.
Take the Lipa Exit. Turn left.
Take the right side, going to Cuenca.
Just drive straight until you see their signage "Valentino Resort & Spa" on your left.
